Q. What makes Personal Monuments™ special? A. Personal Monuments™ beautifully reflect the life of the person memorialized, as each one tells a story evoking memories and commemorating a special life. The combination of hand-carved designs, colors and styles are virtually infinite, ensuring no two Personal Monuments™ need ever be alike. Q. Can a Personal Monument™ memorialize someone who was not cremated? A. Yes, A Personal Monument™ commemorates a loved one's life. It can be displayed as a special tribute and contain items other than cremains. A Personal Monument™ can be used as a "Memory Box" to keep and store commemorative personal items such as jewelry, correspondence or other items of significance to the family.
Q. How big are the Personal Monuments™? A. At 9.5" x 9.5" x 7" tall, Personal Monuments™ are large enough to hold an adult's cremains and a perfect fit in a standard size columbarium niche. Personal Monuments™ weight approximately 14 lbs.
Q. What are Personal Monuments™ made out of? A. Personal Monuments™ are made from engineered stone cast from quarried marble and other natural ingredients.
Q. Can I order additional catalogs and a binder? A. Yes, to order additional catalogs or binder contents at no cost, simply complete the Request Information form or call us at 800-640-1158.
Q. Is there a charge for the sample Personal Monument™? A. Yes, qualified Funeral providers will receive a 50% discount on a Personal Monument sample to be used for display purposes in their showroom.

Q. How much is Shipping and Handling? A. Third day shipping & handling charges are complimentary for every order. Second day shipping & handling is $20, and Next day shipping & handling is $50. In some cases our products may be available for Saturday or Sunday delivery for an additional charge. Please remember these shipping times do not include production time of your Personal Monument™.

Q. How fast will I get my order and how will I confirm it's accuracy? A. After placing an order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement and Design Proof by fax to ensure order accuracy. You must review, sign and return these two forms to Stone Grove Memorials™ to approve and begin order production. Your Personal Monument™ will ship within 48 hours after we receive your order approval (Monday-Friday). Our products are shipped via FedEx or UPS third day delivery, unless otherwise stated or requested.
Q. Do we have to choose a different design for each panel? A. No, it is up to the family how many different designs they choose. Personal Monuments™ can incorporate up to five different designs including the name panel or custom text panels, or they may choose to repeat the same design on several or all panels.
Q. Do Personal Monuments™ come fully personalized? A. Yes, Personal Monuments™ will arrive to your place of business or other specified location fully personalized, complete with a name, birth date, and date of passing if a name panel was chosen. No additional personalization will be necessary.
Q. Does a name have to be placed on the front? A. No, the Name Panel can be placed in any of the four sides or replaced with any standard design or custom text.
Q. What is the best way to choose the designs from all that you have to offer? A. Use the Design Selection Worksheet in the Binder to help each family answer questions about the deceased. The result will be a customized memorial honoring that life.
Q. How are the cremated remains placed in the Personal Monument™? A. On the bottom of the Personal Monument™, you will find a bronze finished closure panel secured with screws. Unscrew and place this bottom panel to the side. Open the temporary container holding the cremains. You should find that the cremated remains are stored in a plastic bag. Place this bag into the Velvet Liner that comes with each Personal Monument™. This is strongly recommended to offer the absolute highest level of protection and to ensure the remains are laid to rest respectfully. Place the Velvet Liner inside the Personal Monument™ and secure the bronze finished closure panel with the screws.
